Fishing the Teifi with Hywel Morgan
Parc Teifi offers the visiting angler a great base to explore the wide variety of fishing on offer in Mid Wales. The area offers fantastic wild brown trout fishing on the World famous river Teifi as well as its origin the Teifi Pools. The “Pools” as it is known locally compromises of 3 lakes two for fly fishermen and the third a multi method which is an ideal venue for the whole family to fish.

The river Teifi which is on our doorstep offers great trout fishing and late on in the season there is a chance to catch the king of fish the Salmon. Also on offer for the river angler some 40 minutes away we have the rivers Severn and Wye which offer great fly fishing for trout, grayling and Salmon.
We are 30 minutes away from Aberystwyth which has great seafishing as well as the River Rheidol and Ystwyth which every year have good runs of Seatrout and Salmon.

Strata Florida Abbey (1 mile from Parc Teifi)
The Cistercian Monastery of Strata Florida, or Ystrad Fflur was established in 1164 by monks from Whitland on land provided by Robert Fitzstephen, the Norman Lord Of Pennard. It was built on the banks of Afon Fflur, a tributary of the Teifi.
Cors Caron
A local nature reserve Cors Caron is situated on a stretch of land between Pontrhydfendigaid and Tregaron. It is not only the place to see the famous Red Kite but it is home to a number of rare species of wildlife known only to this part of the world.
Teifi Pools
Step back in time and sample the traditional way of fly fishing for Wild Brown Trout. The Teifi Pools offers the visting angler, wonderful scenery with fantastic fishing. It is also an ideal place for walkers to take in the maginifcent scenery on paths and tracks with a lane leading to Strata Florida Abbey.

Pafiliwn Bont is literally a stone's throw away from Parc Teifi, and is home to many of the cultural and music entertainment that regularly take place.
